Foo Fighters Win 2015 Brit Award for Best International Group

If someone has a good reason to celebrate after this year’s Brit Award, it’s definitely Foo Fighters, being awarded the Best International Group in 2015!

They won in a race with War on Drugs, 5 Seconds of Summer, First Aid Kit and the Black Keys. Dave Grohl and his band mates accepted the award via video call from California.

Actually rock music was quite well represented at Brit Award this year, since the Brit for the Best British Group went to Royal Blood. Royal Blood is actually one of the bands that will accompany Foo Fighters on a numerous dates this year.

This is actually Foo Fighters’ 4th Brit, after receiving the Best International Group in years 2008 and 2012 and, in 2007 the Best International Album Award for Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace.

But, this is not the only recognition for them this year – barely a week passed since they were chosen the Best International Band at NME Awards.

Rather fruitful start of the year for the guys!
